One fully completed and signed application form
Download DocumentsA letter from the applicant's employer confirming employment. This letter must:
- Be on company letterhead paper
- Include the name of the applicant
- Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company
- Specify the purpose of journey
- State the applicant's expected return to work date
- Be typed and signed in the original by the applicant's supervisor or their HR department

The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:
- Have at least one blank visa page
- Be valid for six months beyond exit date
One passport sized colour photograph. The photograph must:
- Have a white background
- Be taken within the last six months
A letter of invitation from the country of destination. A copy is acceptable. This invitation must be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
An original personal statement from the applicant. This statement must include:
- The applicants' full acknowledgement of the risks involved in the journey
- The applicants' full acceptance of the responsibility of any liability arising during or as a result of the trip
- A full description of the purpose of the journey, the people the applicant knows in Afghanistan and the address at which the applicant will live
Evidence of UK address. This must be:
- Provided as a copy of a utility bill showing applicant's current UK address issued within the last three months
or

Provided as a copy of the applicant's non-online current account bank statement which must show a minimum credit balance of £35.00 per day of stay and be issued within the last three months
A letter of authorisation, permitting Visas2 to represent the applicant is required. This letter must include the first name and last name of the Visas2 representative who will submit the application. A sample letter of authorisation can be found within the Visas2 Application Pack
This Embassy operates an appointment system for visa issuance. The processing time quoted is approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Visas2 recommends that you apply no more than 90 days before your departure date.The processing time quoted for all services is dependent on the next available appointment with the current waiting time for an appointment being 7-10 working days.

Our fees will be calculated on the service type you wish to confirm. Additionally, there will be embassy/consulate outlay fees which will be quoted and confirmed prior to final ordering. Note all embassy/consulate fees are at cost with no additional mark up. All fees are in pounds sterling GBP.

Please note, with regards to cheques, we can only return your passports/ documents onece your cheque payment has been cleared. Customer wishing faster visa processing are advised to pay by card.
