Requirements
Applicants have two options:
• Self-Application
Complete the online visa application at:
https://dashboard.ecimsglobal.com/#/login
Once completed, print the following and include them in duplicate with the application pack:
– Appointment Details Cover Sheet
– Visa Payment Slip (if paid online)
– Completed Visa Application Form
• Assistance via Visas2
Visas2 can complete the online application and payment on behalf of the applicant. The applicant must complete the Visas2 Ghana Visa Questionnaire first. Visas2 will then email the completed documents for printing and signing.
The passport must:

Have at least three blank visa pages, with two of the pages facing each other

Be valid for six months beyond the date of entry into Ghana
Passport photo requirements:
• Two (2) recent (within the last 6 months), colour photograph
• white or off-white background
• plain expression, mouth closed, eyes visible and open
• no head covering (unless for medical or religious reasons)
• no digital alterations or filters.
A copy of the travel itinerary, showing planned entry and exit dates, accommodation, and key destinations in Ghana
- Confirmed return or onward travel booking
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Or invitation letter from a Ghanaian host – if hosted: provide the host’s Ghanaian passport or residence permit, and a notarised invitation letter
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate (or official medical exemption)
Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay:

Employed: A recent payslip

Self-employed: Recent bank statements or business documents.

Unemployed/retired: Pension letter or bank statements.
- Proof of UK address (recent utility bill, council tax, or bank statement)
For minors under 18 years of age travelling without a parent or legal guardian:
• A signed letter of consent from the parent or legal guardian is required. This letter should authorise the child to travel to Ghana and must include:
– the full name of the minor
– full travel dates
– the name and relationship of the accompanying adult (if applicable)
– contact details of the parent or guardian giving consent
• A copy of the parent or legal guardian’s passport or valid UK identification document must be included to verify their identity.
• If the minor is staying with a host in Ghana, a letter of invitation from the host and a copy of the host’s Ghanaian ID or passport may also be requested.

- Completed Visa Form in duplicate
- Additional documents may be requested at the discretion of the Ghana High Commission.
The Ghana High Commission operates an appointment-based system for submitting visa applications. Applicants must first complete the online application via the official website (see instructions) and select an available appointment date. Visas2 will then attend the scheduled appointment on the applicant’s behalf to submit the application.
Visa processing times are determined by the service level selected during the application process and commence from the date of the appointment. Visas are typically issued within:

1 working day (24-hour express service)

3 working days (72-hour express service)

5 to 7 working days (standard service)
Please note that the current waiting time to secure an appointment is approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Early preparation is strongly advised.
Visa Information
- This visa allows UK citizens and residents to enter Ghana once for tourism within a three-month validity period from the date of issuance. The permitted duration of stay is endorsed by Ghana Immigration upon arrival and typically ranges from 30 to 60 days.
- Visa processing is strictly by appointment.
Fees/Payment
Our fees will be calculated on the service type you wish to confirm. Additionally, there will be embassy/consulate outlay fees which will be quoted and confirmed prior to final ordering. Note all embassy/consulate fees are at cost with no additional mark up. All fees are in pounds sterling GBP.

Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards except American Express & Diners Club cards, there will be a 3.5% card transaction fee applicable on the total final amount. Our order form has further details in payment section for card types accepted. We also accept cheques, which should be make payable to 'Visas2'. Please note, with regards to cheques, we can only return your passports/ documents onece your cheque payment has been cleared. Customer wishing faster visa processing are advised to pay by card.
