Requirements
- A fully completed and signed visa application form
- A valid UK passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the intended date of arrival in Gabon and at least one blank page.
• Two recent passport-sized colour photographs (45mm x 35mm) taken against a white background.
• A letter from the applicant’s UK employer. A copy is acceptable.
This letter must:
• be on company letterhead paper
• be titled Ordre de Mission
• be written in French
• include the name of the applicant
• include the nationality of the applicant
• include the date of birth of the applicant
• include the passport number of the applicant
• include the issue and expiry date of the applicant’s passport
• include the location and dates of the planned visit
• include the purpose of the journey
• be signed by the company director
• if self-employed: two recent payslips and a copy of the UK company registration certificate
• if retired: a copy of a pension certificate or official benefits letter
• if a student: a recent letter of enrolment from a UK college or university
• A letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:
• be on company letterhead paper
• include the name of the applicant
• state the purpose of journey
• specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
• be certified by the Town Hall
• bear the signature of the inviting party
• applicants are strongly advised to carry a copy of the invitation letter when travelling, as local authorities in Gabon may request to see it upon arrival
• A copy of confirmed return flight ticket to and from Gabon
• proof of accommodation in Gabon:
confirmed hotel booking in Gabon or a certified invitation letter from the inviting party
Proof of financial means:
- latest two months’ UK bank statements showing sufficient funds.
- Proof of address in the applicant’s country of residence dated within the last three months (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill)
- A colour copy of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.
• For non-British nationals residing in the UK: proof of UK immigration status (e.g. BRP, visa, Settled Status)
Visa Information
- UK citizens travelling to Gabon for business purposes are required to obtain a visa prior to departure. The single entry business visa permits one entry into Gabon and allows a stay of up to one month. This visa is suited to professionals attending short-term business meetings, conferences, or commercial visits.
- The visa’s validity and approval are determined by the High Commission. Submitting a complete application does not guarantee approval, and additional documents may be requested.
Important note for applicants travelling for work purposes:
• the business visa must include the term “Mission”
• if the applicant intends to engage in professional duties during their stay, they must obtain a long-term work visa upon arrival in Gabon at the General Directorate of Immigration Documentation (DGDI):

• work cannot commence until the long-term work authorisation is granted.

Our fees will be calculated on the service type you wish to confirm. Additionally, there will be embassy/consulate outlay fees which will be quoted and confirmed prior to final ordering. Note all embassy/consulate fees are at cost with no additional mark up. All fees are in pounds sterling GBP.

Please note, with regards to cheques, we can only return your passports/ documents onece your cheque payment has been cleared. Customer wishing faster visa processing are advised to pay by card.
